About the founder:

Dave Mancini, a former technology executive, is revolutionizing technology right here in Gig Harbor with Sound Technology Group, a residential technology design/build firm focused on enabling clients with the industry’s best audio, video, lighting, shading, automation, control, security and home networking technologies.

Dave was inspired to pursue a career in technology not only due to his passion for the field but because of the pride he feels in being able to help others achieve elevated home and life enjoyment with the right design and equipment. “It stems from that satisfaction I felt in over 25 years in the tech Fortune 50 helping people reach higher and be more productive with computer operating systems, the internet and cloud computing.”

At Sound Technology, Dave and his team help clients with everything from the selection and installation of a new television to a complete technology transformation in a new home, commercial business or remodel. “Ease of use and reliability guide us in everything we do,” affirms Dave.

With his more than two decades of experience and tech knowledge, Dave can attest that not all smart homes are created equal, with many of the available products out there poorly made and marginally reliable. At Sound Technology Group, they specialize in designing a smart home design that meets customer needs in a way that provides commercial reliability in homes and estates of any size. “We also have a deep understanding of the entire technology chain, eliminating incompatibilities that plague many home technology installations,” shares Dave. “You can experience many of these technologies in action in our private design studio in Gig Harbor.”
